Compliance, anti-fraud & traffic quality

The rules every publisher and advertiser on our network must follow, and how we enforce them.

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions and the Publisher Terms. Where an individual offer has stricter rules, the offer rules apply.

1. Partner verification

  • Every publisher and advertiser application is reviewed by a person before access is granted.
  • We may request company registration documents, identity documents, website or app URLs, traffic-source details and samples of creatives.
  • We check applicants against sanctions lists and may refuse any application without giving a reason.
  • Partners must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract.

2. Anti-fraud policy

We screen clicks and conversions automatically and manually before any payment is made. Screening may include:

  • IP reputation, data-centre, VPN, proxy and TOR detection;
  • device and browser fingerprint checks and bot detection;
  • duplicate, recycled or fabricated lead detection;
  • click-to-conversion time and conversion-rate anomaly analysis;
  • GEO, device and source mismatch checks against offer rules;
  • post-conversion quality feedback from advertisers (e.g. chargebacks, inactive users).

Where fraud or a policy breach is found we may, at our discretion:

  • reject the affected conversions and withhold the related earnings;
  • reverse payments already made for conversions later found to be invalid;
  • pause offers, cap traffic or suspend the account during an investigation;
  • terminate the account permanently and report to relevant authorities where required.

3. Traffic quality standards

  • Traffic must come only from sources disclosed to and approved by us.
  • Traffic must match the GEOs, devices and channels allowed on the offer.
  • Ads and landing pages must be truthful, must not misrepresent the advertiser's product and must not make claims the advertiser has not approved.
  • Users must reach the offer voluntarily and understand what they are signing up for.
  • Email, SMS and push campaigns must have valid, provable consent and a working opt-out, in line with laws such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR/ePrivacy and CASL.
  • Affiliate relationships must be disclosed where required by law (for example FTC endorsement guidelines).

4. Prohibited activity

The following are strictly prohibited on all offers:

  • bots, scripts, click farms or any non-human or automated traffic;
  • incentivised traffic (rewarding users to click or convert) unless the offer explicitly allows it;
  • cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden iframes, pop-unders or auto-redirects;
  • adware, malware, toolbar or browser-extension installs, and unauthorised software bundling;
  • fake, stolen, recycled or self-generated leads, and converting on your own offers;
  • brand bidding or trademark use in search ads, domains or social handles without written approval;
  • spam: unsolicited email, SMS, messenger or social messages;
  • misleading, deceptive or fake-news style ads, fake celebrity endorsements, fake system alerts;
  • adult, sexually explicit or pornographic content, or any content involving minors;
  • traffic from sanctioned countries or persons;
  • hate speech, violent, illegal or otherwise harmful content;
  • attribution manipulation: click injection, click spamming, SDK spoofing or postback tampering.

5. Advertiser requirements

  • Offers must be legal in every GEO they are made available in.
  • Offers must be suitable for a general audience; adult content is not accepted.
  • Advertisers must have clear pricing, terms of service, a privacy policy and an easy cancellation process for subscription products.
  • Advertisers must report conversion rejections in good faith, with reasons, within the agreed validation period.

6. Data protection

Partners must process personal data lawfully, collect only what is needed and keep it secure. Lead data may only be used for the offer it was collected for. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle data ourselves.

7. Reporting a violation

If you see fraud, spam, misleading ads or any other breach of this policy involving ProfitLeader, email compliance@profitleader.pro with as much detail as possible (URLs, screenshots, dates). We review every report.
